Bobby McAvan has spent the last 40 years in Baltimore, playing, coaching and promoting the sport of soccer. He was born to German and Scottish parents in Dundee, Scotland and is now a resident of Catonsville,  

Maryland. He has served the soccer community in many roles including: 

 Head Coach of the Baltimore Blast MISL Championship team

 Member of the first Baltimore Blast Championship team

 TV and Radio Color Analyst

 Director of Community Relations

 Director of Summer Soccer Camps in Baltimore and Ocean City, Md

 Director of Technical Training at Maryland Sports Arena

 Evaluator for Johns Hopkins Women’s Soccer ID Camps Coach McAvan will set realistic goals for your personal or team training and knows from experience the areas requiring reinforcement. He has lived in three countries and has represented Scotland at junior level, and Canada at Olympic level. He has won National Titles  in both Canada and the USA and has won numerous local community awards including Baltimore Magazine’s “Best Coach Award”.  “Congratulations Bobby on bringing Baltimore its first MISL   Championship in 19 years!
